As you can see, I have been cleaning out the forum as of late. Some forums have yet to be touched, but most have gone through spring cleaning, in preparation for the next game. Still plenty of work being done behind the scenes. The best part is that there are no more mental blocks and I now have a pretty clear vision of the direction things are to go. Generally speaking, the past 2 weeks or so have been completely dedicated to this upcoming game. Still a lot of work to do, but I'm happy about what has been accomplished thus far.

After several weeks of issues regarding site hosting and domain names, we're back on. Work is progressing very well and I may or may not decide to do a closed BETA test. But that is still a ways off, so we'll see how things progress.

Just an update in progress...

Several of our Rules chapters have been finalized and the rest are getting there quickly. Still need a couple of tools made, but we're not in a big hurry for those. We have added several new staff members and are getting things ready for game start, including getting the initial storyline hammered out. So we're a lot closer to release, but still have a few things to get finalized. A rough estimate would put us at 1-3 months, but the sooner the better.

Another progress update...

All game rules are completed and now we're just waiting on a couple of tools to be made. Once those are done, they will need to be tested and final touches made throughout the forum. With that said, we're looking at starting v3 at the beginning to middle of September.

Game Rules and the Storyline have been posted and Ruler Applications are open. Character Sign Ups will open once the starting rulers have been selected, confirmed, and set up.

The deadline for Ruler Applications has changed to an earlier date. It will now close on Wednesday, September 1st at 8pm EST.

In the event that we decide to increase the amount of starting Rulers, we have added 3 more cities to the available list. Those cities are Fan Yang, Xu Chang, and Mo Ling. If you applied for a starting ruler position, feel free to edit your city requests in your application.

I have some bad news. My wife's father passed away earlier today and we will be traveling to Michigan in two days for the funeral. For those of you who don't know, I currently live in Japan, so traveling back to the States is quite the trip. Because of this, Ruler Applications will be closed roughly 11 hours from now, on Monday, August 30th at 8PM EST. Before I leave character sign-ups will be opened, as will the various RP threads, Audience Halls, and Personal Turns.

While I am away my online time will be extremely limited. The first turn would normally be longer, so that Rulers can letter and recruit PC officers, but expect some delays because of the situation. I thank you all for understanding and being patient during this time.

PMs have been sent to all of the Rulers selected. If you received one, please get a reply back ASAP, as time is running out. If you have not received a PM, I want to thank you for applying and hope you stay around to play v3. There were more applicants than spots available, so a randomizer made the cuts. Again, thanks to everyone that took the time to apply.

All Kingdom Rulers

When writing your Audience Hall descriptions, please keep two things in mind. First, you can not disarm visitors; if you don't trust them, don't let them in. And second, do not include security measures in your AH description. Your AH description should be a description and/or layout of the city and/or building where the audience hall is located. Since quite a few people have things about disarming visitors and/or 'counterplots' in their AH description, I'm going to have to ask everyone to repost their AH description in their Staff Communication Thread in their PH. For some of you, just copy what you sent me via PM, while others will need to edit it slightly.

And before I forget, Make sure to post your finalized character in the SCT, and starting item/armaments, as well. I will be getting KRPs and OI's up shortly.

First Announcent... is not so 'good'

My internet's been cut, dunno when it'll be back.. could be few next days, could be few next hours. I won't be able to do much till then, unfortunately the rps at Emperor Wudi's AH will have to wait. If I am posting, its from my ps3.. coutesy to my neighbor's connection, pretty strong one too.

Hey all,

I just got in last night. Did about 30 hours of traveling and had the viewing today. I managed to sneak off because my baby REALLY needed to get some sleep. Anyways, things are going ok. I will manage to get some internet time here and there, but nothing too drastic. I won't be returning home until September 15th, so I won't be fully active until then. Other staff members will be handling business for Dong Zhuo, but I will try to get some RP responses in when I can. But I do have a couple of announcements.

1) In case the flow of turns was missed, this is how it works. A turn starts and an invasion deadline is posted; work on KTs and PTs is allowed. Rulers have until that date to submit their invasions. When the invasion deadline passes battle will be run, however KTs and PTs are not due at this time, a new deadline will be posted for when KTs and PTs are due. So to summarize, PTs and KTs are not due on Monday, September 6th; their date is TBA.

2) For Rulers with bonds with NPCs... the bond with all NPCs, and it's accounting, must be kept track of somewhere. It can be in only 2 places: 1) In your OI or 2) in a thread specifically used only for Ruler to NPC bonds. I don't care which it is, but it must be one of those two places.

3) I answered a bunch of questions in the GRQ thread, so check it out when you get time.

Yay, another Announcement!

Due to personal reasons, Blackdragon21 voluntarily relinquished his ruler position. OneEyedDrgn stepped up and has become the newest orange-guy in Dong Jun, so everyone make sure to offer congratulations.
